Glauconite’s Effectiveness at Ordinary and Root Vegetable Growing

      Or companies engaged in root vegetables cultivation raising the level of crop yield is of utmost importance. Glauconite is a means of increasing profits from each hectare while using small amount of chlorine-free potassium-phosphorous fertilizer. Glauconite at it affects not only the quantity, but also the quality of the products, improving its culinary properties and making it safe for health.

      The data based on field researches shows glauconite concentrate’s application has proved its efficiency. The chlorine-free potassium-phosphorous fertilizer of its base contains 10,2% of moving forms of potassium, 19% of phosphorus, 0,6% of iron and 58 other microelements and allows:

Raise:

  • Economic efficiency of potato cultivation two-three times;
  • Potato yield by 49-58.2%;
  • Sugar beet yield by 70%;
  • Carrot yield by 63%;
  • Vegetable competitiveness (improving their culinary properties, raising the root vegetables’ weight and size, improving the products’ color, smell and look);

Improve:

  • Vegetable cultures crop yield by 30-35%;
  • Potatoes starch by 0.8-1.5%;
  • Sugar beet’s sugar content (by effectiveness glauconite beats the effect of chemical and organic fertilizers);
  • Amino acid content of root vegetables (raising sugar in the products, accumulation of dry substances);
  • Root vegetables’ safe keeping and structure;
  • Plants’ immunity to diseases and to decay (due to a balanced feeding with the necessary micro-elements);
  • The state of the root system (due to movable iron forms in glauconite);
  • The feeding of micro-elements to plants (glauconite performs as a reservoir for keeping fertilizers – nitrate, phosphate, potassium, nutritional elements, most important parts for a plant’s health and its growth that later in an easily digestible form go into plants);
  • Plants’ water saturation (glauconite absorbs water in 40-70% of its weight and releases it to plants);
  • Digestion of chemical and organic fertilizers by 20-40% preventing useful elements from being washed out;

Decrease:

  • Expenditures on chemical and organic fertilizers as a 3 tons a hectare dose of glauconite decreases the amount of manure down to 10 tons a hectare as well as the consequence of application of chemicals;
  • The time of soil re-creation (with glauconite being used regularly the soil doesn’t need in rest after harvesting and using chemical fertilizers);
  • Plants’ diseases (mould, fungus root system decay are neutralized)

Tie down:

  • Heavy metals in the soil (99% of led, 64% of mercury, 96% of copper, 97% of cobalt), oil products, phenol, pyridine, radioactive nuclides (caesium, plutonium, etc), pesticides, herbicides and other products of decay, excluding their penetration to products.

      Glauconite has been successfully used in many countries in growing vegetable roots. It’s been proved that the application of glauconite is 20-70% more effective than that of fertilizers based on super phosphates or potassium chloride, improves its competitiveness and culinary properties. Glauconite at it is absolutely safe, not toxic and can be mixed with any other fertilizers, enforcing their positive effect and absorbing products of decay.
